any bass players that play drums

Just looking for bass players that also play drums. I am considering purchasing a drum set. I am looking for a good dvd that can teach me rudiments and techniques. I rarely sit behind a drum set, so when I have this in my room, I want to learn how to play correctly. Any pointers????

I highly recommend the DVD, Tommy Igoe's Groove Essentials. A great video for getting started, and advancing.

Before you buy anything, check out the Vic Firth website. There's a whole bunch of free video lessons there on every percussion topic imaginable. The Mark Wessels snare rudiments series is pretty good; it's clearly intended for kids (and percussion teachers who teach kids) but it's designed to drill good practice habits - e.g. proper posture, grip, stick heights etc.
