Any bass teachers in Kentucky?

...Because I haven't found one. I got a lead awhile ago from a local music store, but the guy gave me a wrong number and I haven't seen him since. So, anybody know of a teacher in the Henderson area?

Jeff Sherman, Bellarmine University

Send Jeff an email and he can refer you to someone closer, if that's what you need!

Chris is in Louisville, he'd be a great choice especially if you want to branch into Double Bass. I'm in Richmond (20 minutes from Lexington). I'm not sure how far away Henderson is or what you wanna learn, what level you're at, etc. but feel free to pm or email me and I'll try to help out.

In the interest of not cluttering the topics page with similar requests, can anyone recommend a teacher in the Phoenix area? I've been convinced of at least giving lessons a try by different posters on TB, but I've had less-than-stellar experiences with different bass/guitar teachers in the past, and a respected recommendation would be much appreciated.

Ed Friedland is in Tucson. Not too far to drive for a teacher of his caliber.

Last time I was there, about 6 people told me I looked like him....wierd...
