Any EZ Graphic Design Software for CD Covers?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm wondering if there are any easy to use graphic design softwares for doing illustrations or cover art for CD's.
I've never used Photoshop or anything else, so, we're talkng E-Z.
Also, free is good, and with tutorials or something.
Thanks for any suggestions.

If you can get your hands on a copy of Photoshop I'd think that is by far your best best. I'm a designer and thats pretty much my go to software for anything. Along with Illustrator and Indesign, but that would probably be a little over your head if you're a beginner.

I use Microsoft Word for cd covers, flyers, posters, pretty much everything. I admit, it's not the most powerful and can be a little time consuming but if you put in the effort and figure out how to use the text boxes, it can be a pretty good end result. I find the 2007 version has a lot of nice enhancements over 2003. Plus almost everyone has the program!

It's not free, but I've used Audiolabel with great success in the past.
