I am enjoying the new Girugamesh CD "Music" .
I think they are my favorite J Rock band right now along with
D'espairsRay. I also like Maximum The Hormone.
I tried Dir En Grey, but did not care for them as much.
I also like some of L'Arc en Ciel, but some of their stuff comes off too romantic/ ballad, not rocking enough. Great bass player & singer though.
Anyone have any other favorites to add or any one else a fan? |

| | | | i was introduced to Malice Mizer some years ago by a friend. have all their music, still listen to it sometimes. i like some of gackt's solo acoustic stuff, other than that its too mainstream. the only L'Arc album i have is Smile, which is good, but i know the band has gone through a lot of stylistic changes (and not in the right direction). basically i used to be really into this stuff, now its just kind of an oddity.
oh and youtube Dir en Grey's "Obscure." fav music video.

There's also this doom band from Japan called Corrupted, they're fantastic. |

Salva has a great bass player.
Since I tunes is sparse on J rock it's hard to find them all.
