any mini strat owners here?

Sign in to disble this ad
quick story is; bought a copy of the mini strat, buddy needed money for a les paul copy, figured i'd give it to a grandkid when they get big enough soooo,i'd like to do an open tuning or drop tuning ANY kind of dif than standard tuning and use it for rythym, just jamming with pals but it's nice to toss new tones out there.

anyway looking at lap steel tuning i uh,,, `dunno man' i'm confused due to scale length,,probably use a slide?,,yes i know i'm a bassman but so is my buddy so we break it up ,no drummer(rarely) and his teen age sons play the lead so it's us old guys keeping them in time,so if anybody's tuned one of those baby strats dif than standard please speak up.

fretless jazz with a fuzz pedal works great for backing up a thundering P Bass(clean tone),,,i just wanted to add something dif.
