any power conditioner recommendations?

I'm simply looking to buy a rack power conditioner. Any suggestions?

Don't. It's a waste of rack space. Get a power strip with a breaker and an on/off switch. Mount it in the back of your rack. That's what I did when I had a rack rig. Worked great.

I've got a Furman M-8L, and it's worked well for me for a while. I wouldn't recommend the lighted version, though. The lights don't stay put very well, and they seem fragile.

Do you want a power conditioner or a voltage regulator ?

Big difference of price between both.

Furman PL8 is a surge protector / filter ( conditioner).
It will protect in case of lightning & stuff , like other said , better get a "fused" power bar in any computer shop.
It doesn't bring back voltage to 117v.

If you have "funky" voltages in your neiborhood , you want a voltage regulator , takes 95v-140v and gives you 117v constantly.
