Any songs you are currently learning that are driving you nuts?

I am having issues with the repetitive riff (but hard for me as I have small hands) in Stevie Wonder's I Wish.

Anyone else about to throw their bass through a window?

Funny, I am having the same problem with the same riff as well.

Atheist's "Retribution." Fairly fleet-fingered, but what kills me is the reptition of the main bass riff. The others aren't so difficult, but there's a whole bunch of parts to the song.

Yes. The verse riff to The Offsprings' "Self Esteem" is driving me nuts.

I just cannot play it cleanly, at least not as cleanly as the recording I jam along with.

Oh, and this is a song I am auditioning for a band with tomorrow. Aaaargh!!!

With any luck it's one of those "sounds OK to everyone but the player playing it" thing

I always have problems with some riffs, it's nice to see that I'm not the only one . I always think I suck when I can't get a riff that SHOULD come easy to me. For me, well I've been working on the really fast riff that goes with the guitar in Pantera's The Art Of Shredding, I suck

the main riff to Hendrix' "Crosstown Traffic" - especially when trying to sing while playing it.
