Generally there has to be a subject or topic to get people talkiing, that interests or engages them.

So if you look around TalkBass there are huge numbers of posts and you could hardly find a more talkative bunch!

But it has to be something that gets people going - if you ask a closed question like "are you from the UK " - basically people can only say Yes or No.

And yes we can be very talkative, we just dont want to be.
