I'd forgotten all about that place!  I heard once that Pink Floyd was there in '68 or so, and some people fell through the ceiling right in front of them while they were playing. Fact or fiction?

It was a really strange show, maybe two or three hundred people there and I was feeling very hip for being into anything so avant-garde. They were about the last band that I would have expected to have any commercial success. |
