Any Washington D.C. Area Bass Shops I should know about?

Sorry -- couldn't find any info on searches, but I'll have some time to kill in DC this Saturday and wanted to see if there are any cool shops to check out so I can needlessly spend some of the money I don't have.

Thanks!

There's this guy named Qintar... Oops... JiveJong....

Check out Jive's shop. Others of my favorites include the legendary Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center and Classic Axe in Manassas. If you like vintage/used geat Atomic Music is a place you want to be.

No doubt, Jive Sound is the place to be. Chucks's is a huge store, and is a staple in the DC music scene, but with the exception of Ken Smith stuff, it doesn't have an especially exotic selection (which is perfectly fine, if you're looking for something basic and solid). Jive Sound has tons of interesting stuff, and dealing with Jong is about as cool as it gets.

Go to www.jivesound.com to check out Jong's stock, and get an address.

My shop is about a mile from the Braddock St. station on the Blue or Yellow line. You can walk up Mt. Vernon or take a Metro Bus to get here. I'll be Saturday from 1-5.

Chuck's is walking distance from the Wheaton station on the Red line.

Never been to Atomic, but I think it's near the College Park station on the Green line.
