Any way to hook an ipod up to a combo that doesnt have rca inputs?

I'm thinking of buying a mesa walkabout scout combo. However, unlike many of the combos I have had in the past, this one does not offer an input for plugging things in, so is there a way?

I suppose you could could get some sort of splitter, and a 1/8 to 1/4 jack for the Ipod, then plug your bass in the other one.

STOP!

you are about to plug something that is already amplified into an AMPLIFIER
potentially expensive.

Have your ipod on volume 1, or even lower. the lowest it will go to still make a sound. even then, do not push it. plug your ipod into the ACTIVE input.

yes, a type of Y adapter would work. play the bass normal volume, and use the ipods volume control to match it. johnny a.

Radio Shack: first cable (1) 1/8 stereo to (2) male RCA then second cable (2) female RCA to (1) 1/4 mono. Works perfectly.

I have a short cable that plugs into the headphone jack of my mp3 player that has red and white RCA plugs at the other end, which I plug into a little adapter I have that has RCA jacks on one end and a mono 1/4-inch plug on the other side. This end I plug into the effects return of my Markbass LMII if I want something to play along with for practice (or a sample to use as a backing track). I can also plug it in to the main input if I want to use my rig as a big mono amp for my mp3 player (it works very nicely in this regard).

Both the cable and the adapter are available at Radio shack for a few bucks each.
