Can't find much use for a tremelo on a bass doing covers.
If you are going to use it, you will probably need to work with
your guitar player (if you are in a band) so as to both change the pitch together.
I just got a bass with a HipShot and still can't put it down.
I love the new sounds I am creating but it is pretty much
soloing and not integrated in to my band.
Check out the web site "Bass Tremelo Fanatics".
A more popular trem bridge is made by a company called
Kahler, and those guys over there are Kahler crazy.
