Bass Central in Orlando - it is worth the hour and a half drive from Tampa

As far as in Tampa, Both GC and Sam Ash are pretty close to each other.

Dude, you are less than 2 hours from the best bass store on the planet. If you don't have a car, buy somebody the gas to take you there.

And when you get there, you will have plenty of GAS.

Yeah, there's really nothing special to be found at the shops in Tampa/St. Pete. Same sorta stuff you'd find anywhere. Make that trip to Orlando if ya can.

I stopped in Stevie B's while in Tampa on a work trip a couple of years ago & they has some OK stuff. Nice guys there too...

I'm sure they can't hold a candle to BC though.

Check Legends Guitars in Tampa. They may have something decent. Its just west of Guitar Center a few blocks on Hillsborogh Ave.

Bass Central is the best bass only shop by far.
