Are you kidding me?

Double bass, opening and closing the HH. He has more natural groove and pocket presence than a majority adult drummers I have seen, that groovin blues bit was great.

For a 4 year old he's pretty dang good, but compared to any serious drummer he's aweful. But he's still 4.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. He's not bad for 4 years old tho. Tony Royster Jr. would obliterate him.

That's the feeling I get as well. An adults mind trapped in a child's body maybe.

With drummers, it's normally the other way around

I've gigged (on pickup gigs) with worse drummers!!!

(Seriously!!! )

If he keeps at it (looks like that video is several years old now...), he's gonna be pretty amazing when he's "legal".

You can tell the things he's trying to do but his little body just won't let him do it yet. I thought if he was able to do the chops he was trying it was very "tasteful" for a kid that age. Most drummers just cram stuff in, he seemed very deliberate and calculated for a little guy.

My thoughts... put him on some stupid show when he's 5. Maybe by then he'll be solid, then he'll be great.
