Got a gig in the South Oakland...just over the city limits. I put a 1/4 inch steel plate on the top of my truck so I can leave without having bullets hit me as they rain down after midnight.

y'all think I'm kidding........

Playing at a fancy bed and breakfast in the UP of Michigan. One of the perks of this gig is that I get to sleep there!
Cheers

First time in about 7 years that I'm not playing anywhere tonight...As odd as it's gonna be, it's also gonna be nice to just hang out here at the house...Got the fridge all stocked up, and a couple bottles of champagne chilling for when my wife and stepdaughter get off work at 9...Then we'll all celebrate together...

Last year played a fancy private at an old Connecticut shoreline hotel. Super night that ended with a dead battery in the van on a super cold night. This year played NY's night, our regular 1st Sat of the month booking. Drummer and I - both sick - usually sing 2/3 of the night. Guitar player ended up pulling most of the load. Snooze fest crowd-wise. Oh well.
