I saw MMW a couple weeks ago. They're awesome musicians, and I was really into the show, but they are kind of Jazz for Jam band fans. Which makes it all the better when they break into an atonal free-jazz jam. Sure, it's got nothing on John Zorn, but you you can feel the confusion mix in with the pot and the patchouli in the crowd, and it's priceless.
Doesn't make them bad, though, and I'd love to have a lesson from Chris Wood. |

How much would it cost to fix it?
Again, I apologize. An old joke, but one I can never pass up.

When you don't post a bunch every day, you post something and people are like "I don't know this guy" and they move on.
Did you attend this?

In a word, it was 5 days of sheer musician's bliss, and we all went home with a lifetime's worth of ideas to work on. Far too much to summarize, but I'll be happy to try to answer any particular questions you have about it. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
