I too have seen a chart written in D, that's what made me wonder what Key Clapton actually recorded it in.

Good Tune! | Actually, I'd never heard it or even heard of it before this thread. If you'd googled "Anyday Derek and the Donminos", the same as I did, you'd have found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgNYXZL2fB4
which is the original track and my ears (and my bass) told me immediately it was in A.
I wonder who does it in D? - anyone got an Idea??.
