USA BAsses is an awesome book that I am pretty sure Roscoe is in though. | Doubtful Kevin, Keith started business (as a repair shop and retail shop) in 1971, he started building guitars in the early 80's, and basses soon after...of course, until about '95 or so he wasn't too well known for his basses, them being overshadowed by the Dr. Death guitars (the "skull & crossbones" guitars referred to by WillPlay!  ).
I'm just kiddin' by the way, I've read the book in question, and it is very thorough in a lot of ways.

Seriously though, it looks interesting. I remember I saw a illustrated encyclopedia or something about guitars and basses at a Borders once. It was like $10 too, and no tax because it was in New York. I truly regret not picking it up, because it had some pretty interesting pictures in it. |
