You know, the Pee Wee Herman song.
One of our guitarists plays the sax too and she wants to do this song. She wants to do it in F.
It sounds real simple but was wondering if anyone does anythign special/different with it.

A long time ago we performed it acoustically for an one-off gig.
Cool B-side/filler that made it to the top.

| | Yeah, I've got the moves like Jagger. | | Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: G.R. MI | | | I've done the song a few times. Not like in the past 10 years or so though. In fact, back in those days we used to have a sound guy that really really really liked tequila. I mean he liked it a lot.

And we worked it up for our reunion gig, but had to dump it due to set length issues.

Saxophonist Chuck Rio (born Daniel Flores) wrote the song as the "B-side" of "Train to Nowhere", which was released in 1957 . . .
Glen Campbell, Dash Crofts and Jimmy Seals ("Seals and Croft") were some of the many musicians who went out on the road as part of the touring "Champs" . . . |

Use to play it with a cover band.
If people are fired up, it goes over well.
You must has a sax player, for full value? |

I never actually got familiar with the original song, we just played our own version of it. We played it as a "fake salsa" but in the B section we turned it into swing with walking bass... The crowd always liked the song.
