Anyone else have pets who like your basses / gear?

Was having a photoshoot today, and apparently my cat (Ashes) likes this bass. Came over and flopped down right next to it. It does smell really nice...

My cat also likes to sleep on top of my bass cab. I put a nice mat up there but even so, I don't think the carpet on that cab will ever be clean again

How about you?

Oh, my cats love my cabinets. Especially the one with the fabric cover that happens to be a fur magnet.

My ferrets love everything that isn't nailed down so I can't say they are partial to my bass. They do however like to use the case to hide behind and attack the others one or the cat when she walks by. They have tried to chew the knobs off my practice amp.

Definitely not a pet of mine but while playing an outdoor party yesterday a wasp kept flying past me and into the port of my speaker cabinet. I just watched, I didnt want to rile him and have every one see the two of us go into full battle mode. It just kept coming and going, probably building a nest in there. As far as I know it wasnt in there when I loaded up.

My cats hate when I play bass but that hasn't stopped them from getting fur all over my cabs or in the case of my cheap GK backline cab using it as a scratching post

My dog fears my 15" Cab. She's always been afraid of storms, so when I turn up the bass, and hit something on that low B, she cowers away

Hey Lokire, what kind of bass is that? It's a beauty.

Anyway, my rabbit seems to love all of my guitars. She actually really seems to like music of any kind.

my cats like my carpeted combo...its easy to get their claws into for a good scratch...needless to say they get shouted at a lot too!......
as soon as I start playing they tend to do a runner though!

My dog likes my bass playing I think, he becomes very calm when I play, at least when I'm not playing too loud/heavy .

My cat Casey just loves that low end! I think he got the idea from Howard Stern!

My cat comes and checks me out when I'm playing electric but when I'm practicing my DB, he'll actually plop down and listed. I guess I have a "Jazz Cat!"

These two really are always curious when I get out an instrument.

the other day when I was about to load my truck with gear for a gig I came back to the garage to discover this one ready to help me...

My dog just seems to cower when I play bass, which is a shame, especially with the high notes. Though I suppose it can be handy if he's annoying me

my cat stopped hanging out in my room once i started bass, and she used to hide underneath the couch during a thunderstorm, which was funny because she couldn't fit all the way under, just her front third...

of course, she is now resting in peace if you know what i mean and i have a bigger amp and cab
when i get another cat, it'll have to learn to deal with the low frequencies
