Anyone else in the US have a July 4 gig?

Just wondering what they were... we're playing a corporate party for a mortgage company. We get to bring our immediate families and partake in food, drink, swimming and fireworks, play for 3 hours and get paid.

Not bad.

You?

We'll be the first band up at The Bike and Bar B-Q Blues fest at Letchworth State Park in Western New York on the 7th. Then a club date that night at the Queen City Grill.

Of course I do - in 20 years of military bands, I've had one July 4th off. We're playing in downtown San Antonio - Woodlawn Lake - for the city's big to-do.

Happy 4th everyone!

I'm playing at a country club July 4th. pool party.

It's a bunch of snobby people who never dance, but they pay well.

Thumbs up

Yep... we played on a small stage in our church parking lot with some nice overhead tarps keeping the Calf sun off of us. Someone put some nice patriotic 'bunting' hanging down around the front edge, .

All the gear and PA worked perfectly. (imagine that!) Happy 4th!!
