Has anyone ever heard of a bass-related company called GDB? They've offered me an endorsement but I can't seem to find any info about them. They seem to be based out of Long Island, NY. If anyone knows of anything about this company let me know.

The only company called GDB out of Long Island that I have heard of is a trucking company.

I get confused with this. Isn't the idea actually that the artist is endorsing the gear and not the other way around? In which case I don't think I'd want to endorse a product that I don't feel strongly about.

Ask them to email their contract so you can look it over.

Never heard of them? Make sure before you sign anything if they are for real it is something you can live with. The demands placed on a band or players can be a royal pain sometimes you may end up with a situation where they only want you to appear with their product in photos and maybe for like 2-3 years? Or mandatory appearances which you may have to pay for yourself to get there. Or they want you to use it on every gig! So whatever you love to play maybe out of the picture for as long as the contract states. Did one with Dean guitars a while back could only use Deans at gigs was in the contract and no they did not give me one they give me a discounted price. Either way read the fine print make sure you understand your end of the deal very well! Hope it works out for you RTS
