A guitarist friend of mine has two agile LP copies. We both like them.

Yep. The Agile guitars are really nice, especially the $250+ ones. I've had several of them and will probably buy more in the future. If they would ever make basses to the quality of the Agile guitars it would be really awesome.

I've heard positive things the WNO 630 but nothing about the 650. Buy and try it out. You can always send it back if there's anything wrong.

If it plays half as nice as it looks, then you'd have a winner.

Thumbs up

I have one Rondo guitar, one of the Agiles (MIK) as opposed to one of the cheaper "SX's" (MIC). It's a Valkyrie II, the prior version of their SG-type. I got it on closeout (when they were going to a new design) for $99 + shipping; it'd been somewhat under $250 ($235 or so iirc) prior. It was a steal at a Benjamin, and well worth the regular asking price.

Even though the P-90's are ceramic magnets, I find them just fine stock and have no intention of changing them out. Have gigged it several times with no problems. One of the pups is even RW/RP from the other!

When I bought the Agile I also had an Epi G400 SG with humbuckers. The Agile made it redundant and I sold the Epi.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy Rondo, especially the Agiles. Kurt is a good guy and if you get a dog he'll make it right.

Ive got a Agile strat copy that is on par with fender MIM, maybe better. And i had an SX strat that was probably equivalent to their basses. I prefer the Agile though, it just feels more solid and the fretwork is better.

edit:

I forgot i also have a "valencia" classical acoustic which i love!! http://www.rondomusic.com/product1113.html

It sounds great, looks great, has a solid cedar top and it was at a good price. This one gets more playtime than my agile guitar.

I only have an Agile, but the consensus I get on other boards devoted to guitars is that the Agiles are higher quality and more consistent than SX's.

Like I said, I preferred my Agile "SG" to an Epi SG I had.

Yeah i'm thinking one of the Agiles or the Douglas, or a friend is selling a Aria hollow, although don't really wanna buy used. But the downside to buying new is, this would be my first guitar so i'd have no idea if it was a dud or not.

I wish he had a white version of that SG copy, or of the Les Paul 3000

Anyone have any knowledge on the Agile AL-2500?
