Like some days I seem to play sloppier than usual and some others I play to my potential, I find it odd and quite annoying, like today my right hand technique is all over the place and my left hand doesn't seem as flexible and as maneuverable as usual I'm playing like crap and it frustrates the hell outta me. Is this normal? I think this is the 3rd day in a row.

If I don't drink a beer (two if I've eaten short before) I find myself sloppy, forgetting parts and without creativity in the gigs...

Sometimes. Usually, it's a result of failing to warm up, or a bad monitor mix. I wouldn't worry about it.

Man, some days my head just isn't right and I can't seem to play anything right. The worst is when the whole band gets the affliction on the same day and everything is just a train wreck.

I know where you're coming from. I think mine generally results from having taken a nap that was too long and my head is cloudy.

Everyone does.
It's how fast you bounce back, that matters.

Definitely, happens to everyone. That's why I warm up like crazy before a show...don't wanna have one of those off nights in front of 150 people!

Well, most of the time I play my potential, but sometimes I'm quite good...

I have been playing for 25+ years, and am much better than I was even just 5 years ago. And it still happens. We all have our off days at everything.
