I'm considering getting a lap steel and found one on CL but I don't know what it is worth or what to offer for it. You can see it here: http://cleveland.craigslist.org/msg/1350764283.html

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those old Supros put out a pretty raunchy tone that works especially well for David Lindley-style stuff. They're not exactly rare, but a specialist friend who owns two tells me a clean one might be worth between $300 and $400 to a player.
