Anyone know a source for bulk cloth braid instrument cable?

Planning on building another instrument cables, and I love the look of the fancy cloth braided cables. I can't seem to find any place that sells instrument cable with cloth braid on it though. Is it available as an add on for pre-made cables, or am I just not seeing where you can get it from the factory?

I'm resurrecting this old thread because I need to make a few cables and I love the way this stuff looks and the way it coils.

I know there's no sonic advantage, but I've gotten years of use out of Spectraflex and DiMarzio cables so I figured I'd roll my own with the same.

Anybody know if anyone sells this stuff by the foot?

Ok, went back and looked this up. I emailed Redco Audio at the time, they don't have anything like this and can't get it. He referred me to Lava Cable and told me to try asking them.

PM TB'er ExaltBass

If it is available he can get it to you for a very fair price.

Thanks hdracer, I'll give him a try!

@Balog - If I can't find cloth-covered, Redco was who I was going to order from anyway. Seems like his prices are quite good.

ExaltBass wasn't familiar with a source. I guess I'm out of luck.

Looks like I'll just have to use boring ol' Canare or Mogami. *sigh...*
