Are you actually a computer program, like where Deep Blue generated challenging chess moves, your software generates an endless stream of bizarre and baffling threads?

Nope, I'm just a huge Rick Wakeman fan...that and I've been listening to far too much Yes.

At least it's a sensible answer. Now all I need is an answer that won't land me in trouble. x

I couldn't imagine a Fassa thread any weirder than the "I want to join the RAF", this thread just proved that Fassa out-weirded my mind. I am going to go drink a strong coffee.

Just remember to get Scotchguard so it doesn't get puke and blood stains on it.

Next Fassa thread:

"I got tangled up in my cape, while taking the Police Academy entrance physical, and sprained my arm... should I complain to the cape manufacturer, or should I post on forums to alert everyone to the hazardousness of these capes?"

OK. Try googling theatrical costume suppliers. In the US, we have businesses called "costume shops." They sell and rent masks, monster suits, make-up, crowns, suits of armor, top hats, fake beards, wigs, Rik Wakeman capes, etc. Oh, BTW, such a cape may be better known as a Dracula or Bela Lugosi cape.

I realize that americans tend toward the ripely dramatic and perhaps such costumes shops are much less common in the UK, so do look at what google has to say.

As for avoiding trouble for you, that is YOUR job, not anyone else's

I wish TalkBass had a function where you could automatically subscribe to every thread a particular user makes, instead of just subscribing to individual threads.

In my town, there's always Capes R US on 4th Street. Then there's Cape Emporium, also on 4th Street, and there's also Carl's Capes on 4th Street... You know, in the Cape District.

Costume shops. They'll sell them to you.

Costume shops R'US, even in Capetown and Cape Cod.
