Anyone that knows anything about drums, help me out.

Can anyone tell me what these drums are?

I know E is used in the song "Third Eye," but I really don't understand what the drums are. Are they just triggers for the electric patches that just are painted in Danny Carey's crazy occult geometrical patterns or what?

Those are just Simmons drum pads used to trigger all of his samples. The round one to the left of "E" is the Roland V Drum thing.

Damn, beat me to it Lyle.

I think that either B and C or C and D are used in the beginning of Stinkfist (the high pitched part before the feedback comes in). He didn't use them much on Aenema but there all over the place on Lateralus. I think he's been using the same Sonor set since the Opiate days.

Yea, Danny's set owns , f**king kickass drummer, just as good in VOLTO! too, his other band.

"A" is a Roland Handsonic. It's a neat little toy for hand percussionists.
