rents basses? I am gonna come to the US for a month and i cannot bring my bass with me? Any info will be much appreciated

I have double jointed thumbs (they can bent backwards and one half creates a 90 degrees angle with the other half) Does anyone else has this and do u know if it aids bass playing or hampers it.
By the way, i think that Jaco had the same thing as i saw in a video from a concert
