Anyone recognize these speakers?

These are OLD alnico speakers which came from some old stereo or something of the sort from my grandpa. I put them in my Vox AC30 because those alnicos are LIGHT and the original Wharfedales are heavy. Then I played it, and it has more clarity, but it still retains the balls. I like it this way!

In the late 60's and through the 70's Jensen had a JB-1 model that was a multipurpose speaker used both in musical instrument, and home stereo options, as well as theater sound support. Best I can tell you off the cuff, I'll look through some of my old lit, and see if I can find out anything more for you

Yeah, those are old "horseshoe back" Jensens. Nice replacement, I bet they break up early, and real nice-like.

What year is your AC30? I notice you said Wharfedales...My Dad has two pair of Wharfedale home speakers...not exactly hi-fi, but incredibly warm and room filling... and, they be filled with sand...still don' get that one....bags of sand? As a dampenner, I'm sure...
