... and your band has been booked to play a massive party the day before a giant asteroid crashes into the earth and kills everyone. Your band draws straws, and you get to pick the last song of the set. What do you pick?

It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)

Either that, or I'd be hightailing it to the nearest Mars bound rocket and getting the hell out of dodge.

+1 to 2112. The Grand Finale with a goddamn giant asteroid falling from space would be awesome.

Honestly, I'd play Porcupine Tree's Collapse the Light Into Earth or Last Chance to Evacuate Planet Earth Before it is Recycled and broadcast it worldwide in real time.

didn't consider this angle, but it's a great one! I think maybe "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights." I'm pretty sure I'd be praying for the asteroid to hit ASAP.

Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft by the Carpenters.

I've been wanting to cover that song since forever, and it seems like a good enough time to get 'er done.
