Argentinian Bassist willing to study in USA - HELP!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi people,

My name is Santiago, I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, city of mate, pretty girls, tango, and lot of party.

I am 23 years old now and have been playing music (with bass and double bass as my main instr.) since I was 10. To give yoiu the brief story I want to go to study to USA...

I've been making some research and found as posible options Berklee, LA Music Academy (I loved what I found about it) and Musicians institute. The main doubts I have is firts what do you know about these schools, I guess level must be really fine, and life a dream, surrounded all day long by music...

I'll need to get a scholarship (mandatory) so I want to know if you have seen heard or whatever about HOW DIFFICULT is it to get one.

Thanks in advance for your help guys! and kind regards from BA

Santi
