Question ATA Flight Case for Gibby T-Bird??

Sign in to disble this ad
Can anyone suggest an ATA approved flight case that would fit a Gibson Thunderbird? The only suggestion from Gibson was ANVIL cases...great cases but after purchase, shipping and duty (need it sent to Canada) case would over $450

any help really appreciated.

Thanks
Adam

Check with RoadReady http://www.roadreadycases.com/. They make some nice cases and could custom fit for your bass.

The other option (and the one that I now use) is a gig bag and the SKB bass safe.

I heard about RoadReady a couple of weeks ago. Sent them an email a week or so ago but (I guess with holidays etc.) they haven't had time to reply. I am in a bit of a time bind as my brother is returning to Seoul Jan. 12th. He is bringing it back for me.

The gig bag deal would work but SKB can't comfirm it will fit (plus gig bags for T-Birds are a bit hard to find as well....have one on the way to Korea from Europe but won't have time to send it to Canada to catch brother before he leaves)

thanks for the ideas though I appreciate it!
