Atlanta Bass Gallery

Went by Atlanta Bass Gallery for the first time today, and it was the best experience I've ever had in a music store. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything, at all, and the service was great. I ended up leaving with two sets of strings and four magazines even though I didn't need them, simply to begin supporting a store that I've fallen in love with. Anyone around the Atlanta area really needs to go check this place out.

Edit: I'm not affiliated with ABG in any way, just a new dedicated customer.

Well, it's not like Atlanta's not a great place to vacation - biggest aquarium in the world, always a good show at the Variety Playhouse, great places to eat, etc....and all of those are great excuses to get to that store...

I also know a fellow bass player from Atlanta. Would you say they have good deals there or they' re expensive? I heard they sell some high end basses there.

I mean, they're about as expensive as everyone else on their new stuff, but they have some really good deals, too. They had a very lightly used American P-bass for 900 that sounded and played great. If I had the cash, I would have walked out with it. They had some really high end stuff there, though. A Ritter Royal, and lots of stuff like that.

I'm sorry I'm gushing about this store, I've just been searching for a place like this for a long time...

Atlanta is fantastic - it`s the NY of the south. Fabulous dining and hotels, plus attractions galore - the aquarium is unbelievable; stand in an acrylic tunnel while a 40ft whale shark swims 10 ft. over your head And for us music fans ? A great show (national act) somewhere in town almost nightly. Check out The Tabernacle-one of the coolest music venues in America. ! I live in Birmingham, about 150 mi away - I loves me a weekend in Atlanta ! Will definitely check this place out next time I go !

For what it's worth, Wooten is coming to the Variety Playhouse soon.
