My best friend/roommate attends AIM for the guitar program. He says that it's a great program and I can tell he's learning a lot. So now he's kinda sparked my interest about going for the bass program.

I was just wondering if anyone on here has gone through this school or heard anything about it.

It's been awhile since I graduated, but many of the same teachers are there. IME, the program works if you do the work. You need to have good study and practice habits, and follow up on any area you where you are weak. The instructors won't hold your hand and make you learn something, but they will help if you ask for it.

Awesome. Thanks for the input.

This almost seems like a no brainer for me. I want to be good enough to play whenever, whatever, and with whoever. Cause I'll be damned if I'm gonna work a 9-5 my whole life. A couple less hours of sleep and $15,000 seem well worth it.

I have a meeting set up to take a tour of the school. I hope to start in April.
Anyone else an alum or hopeful?

I am looking at going there when I graduate highschool next year.

For those who have been there, Do they put you up with a roommate or are those 'out of towners' left to find their own?
