i think this spells the end for them. their last album tanked pretty hard and they seemed to just fade out of the picture. the last few songs i heard just sounded careless and sloppy.

for now, i foresee marc finding another band (as he is one talented SOB), brandon pursuing singing on some sort of solo record, big dan playing sloppy guitar solos on other peoples' records, and at least one of them presuming the obligatory role of "touring musician turned producer".

seems alex is already in the midst of another project where he can pretend hes a talented vocalist

i know it says hiatus, but thats often the end.

opinions?

I think hiatus is a way of saying "We don't want to play right now, but we're not ruling anything out for the future".
