I'm just curious; has anyone used their own picture for their Avatar? I'm considering becoming a supporting member in the near future. I see lots of really creative and interesting Avatars, but what are your thoughts on using your own picture?
Joe

Never had a problem, but I'm lucky that I look weird enough in real life that I compare to the photoshop avatars others use. |

My current avatar is something I made in Disney World several years ago, where the machine takes your picture and puts your features on a monkey or some other animal.
Here they are, for posterity... |

Dancehallclasher and Peter McFerrin did the same. I also use my pic once in a while.
Frankly, you should follow your instincts and choose whether you want to use your own pic or not.
Wow, this thread is really an important topic, eh?
