| Avoid "REVOLUTION MUSIC GROUP" From West Michigan

This is to warn any bands or acts that might be approached by Ryan from Revolution Music Group. They go around looking for local acts to play these shows with "free food" and "professional lighting" and require bands to sell so many tickets or else they can't play (IMO overpriced too). The tickets are nothing but quarter-slips of construction paper printed in bulk. My old band got approached by him but didn't get to play a show, my new band played with him once, and as did my brother's band. The "free food" was 10 Little Caesar's Hot N Readys (for a few hundred people not including the bands? Come on), and the "professional lighting" was a couple of little stage effect multi-lights. And he must rake in a ton of money on these ticket sales, and AFAIK, the bands don't see a dime of it. Be wary if you see him.
