I'm not too keen on the vocals (style-wise), but their music sounds good. The bass solo does sound very good, but is too short. It would have been great if they streched tha bass solo out a bit more and made the overall bass part more up front in the mix.

Yeah I do wish it was the bass solo was a tad longerbut this still rocks my face off. As far as voclas go, Im found of that sort of style, it is an acquired taste, but I think regardless of the way you feel about the vocals, you can enjoy this. They arent as harsh as most black metal vocals and the music is phenomonal. I thought it was mixed pretty well.

Not that I heard. But I thought there was a chainsaw mixed with the music.

Cool stuff, but they need to loose the keyboards. I'm sort of a black metal purist that way

What happened to drummers who actually got a tone from their drums? And is a requirement in that genre that at least one member of the band look like a complete tool? In this case, the bass player.
All-in-all, I could dig that song w/ different vocals and taking the kick down in the mix.

Glad you can hear the bass, and except for the goofy inlays, his ESP is pretty sweet. He does look like a tool though, especially with the spiked dog collar.

I prefer Bishop of Hexen for symphonic.

Man, that cookie monster vocal thing is so freakin' tired, even with the Bon Jovi keyboards.

Now, THIS is how you get heavy with keyboards.

Check it out, you can actually hear the individual instruments, AND the singer is actually SINGING! An actual melody! Really! And yet it is balls out heavier than Roseanne Barr at a BBQ convention.

What a pathetic joke. The dominant instrument in the mix was the keyboard. It was nowhere to be seen. When they perform live, what do they do, sequence everything you can hear? Pathetic.

That really sucked. You can barely hear the bass anyway. The vocalist sounds crappy and the keyboard stands out too much.

Derek Shirinian does a pretty decent job on keyboards here starting @ 4:35.

Yeah, that music in that first link does nothing for me. I don't understand how someone could listen to a whole song like that and not start laughing because of the vocals.
