Any popular James Brown song would impress kids in a positive way.

Rage Against the Machine, The Who, Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest all have at least a few songs teenagers would recognize and appreciate.

OP, can you narrow down applicable genres? There's tons of good, non-crap songs teens will know.
