B.B. King Lucille Replica (Epiphone)

Does anyone have any experience with this guitar?

I'm looking for something relatively inexpensive (but provides no sacrifice in overall quality) that I can plug into my looper so I can write entire melodies/harmonies/chords/etc., a blues-inclined guitar and preferably, though not necessarily, a hollowbody.

Any guitars that at least loosely fit these specifications I would be delighted to know about.

If you are looking for inexpensive & can go used, look at an Aria TA series. Preferably no earlier than 1979 and later than 1986. Steer clear of the modern ones that are pretty much 335 clones - the older ones are smaller & the neck joins the body further along.

I have 'bucker-shaped P90s in mine and it rocks.

I've been hearing good things about Eastwood Guitars. This Gretsch-like hollowbody runs a little under $500:

I've never played the Epiphone Lucille, but the Ibanez AGS83b is a great hollowbody for the price. I had one, but traded it in for something with a trem.

I fool around with an Epiphone AlleyKat and it rocks. It's a semi-hollowbody and you can get a nice jazzy sound out of it or a crunchy rock. I like it because it is has a little smaller body, a little bigger than a Les Paul. You can usually find them on eBay used for around $350-$400.
