Back from Sessions With The "A" List Players In Nashville!

Sign in to disble this ad
As many of you know I have been producing a country cd and last week I went to Nashville to produce the tracks and start mixing them. I will be going back in a few weeks to mix them further.

I hired Nashvilles "A" list players. Amazing guys, amazing players. Just had a blast. Here is a list of the guys and a collage pic of the sessions. If you want to see what and who these guys have worked on go to www.allmusic.com, type in their name and then click on the Credits Tab.

Drums - Eddie Bayers
Bass - Kevin Grantt (the guy whose Sadowsky was stolen and found by TB member OldCity Bass) I also played tracks on this cd.
Electric Guitar - Jeff King
Acoustic Guitar - Pat McGrath
Keys/B3/Wurly - Mike Rojas
Fiddle/Mando/Banjo - Glen Duncan
Pedal and Lap Steel - Bruce Bouton
Engineer - John Kunz

It was an honor and privilege to work with Nashville Top Players!

Awesome! I'd love the chance just to hang in a recording studio like that to watch! No one would probably want me playing in the studio, but being a hobbyist recorder, I love seeing how the whole process works.

Would love to hear the finished product.

99% of my time was locked away in the studio but I got to get out to Tootsies one night, ate at Noshville and Mojo's (both around the corner from the studio) a couple times.

May have to move there. I made some great contacts so if I wanted to work I could probably get gigs. (ponders life in Nashville). Never know. We are trying to get out of California so why not Nashville.

It is going to be a long haul I think. But we are going to get him some help. Just PM or email me for progress until I work some stuff out with Paul.

Didn't make it anywhere while I was there. Won't be able to next time either. Just too much to do.

And, yes the guys were amazing. The rough mixes are will already stand up to anything on radio right now.
