Bad day for my Schecter bass..

Sign in to disble this ad
Yesterday I was doing some work in my room and was moving some things around. I accidentally caused a surge protector to slide off the shelf it was on and it landed right on my Schecter 5'er giving it its first official dent..

Later on in the evening I decided to sit down with the bass for a bit and pluck out some lines.. Not even two minutes into playing when I was popping on the G string it broke.. It didn't fully snap into two pieces, more like the inner core wire broke and the outter wire just unraveled and didn't break.. So right when I was popping suddenly all the tension 'deflated' out of the string!

My poor Schecter did not have a good day yesterday..

I picked up my bass last night and bumped an Autographed Mick Jagger picture and when it fell and broke the glass it also broke an original London 45 of 19th Nervous Breakdown, but it didn't hurt the guitar.
