First of all, please excuse me if this has been posted already.
I found out yesterday that one of my favorite bands has decided to cease making music . Here is the link: http://isistheband.blogspot.com/2010...ed-end_18.html
On the one hand, I feel sorry for them because they made incredible music but on the other I respect them for not making the mistake that many other bands did before. Hopefully we get to hear from them soon.

And I've seen them twicethree times before this. Bummer for the less fortunate, though.
edit: And it looks like I'll be at the final US show. Holy crap!
double edit: I've actually seen them three times.

Guess I'll just follow Jeff Caxide and Aaron Turner to wherever they go from here on. But nothing can ever bring back Isis.

Have to say, though, it'd be a hard pick between Mansfield in '06 and Portland '09. Being able to look up into space with live Isis as a soundtrack was incredible, but this was an unprecedented level of intensity (plus the setlist was amazing). No Celestial, but I got that last year, so no complaints. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
