Bad Singers who made it

Sign in to disble this ad
I was listening to some obscure song today by the Rolling Stones and thought that it was a miracle that they have been around forever considering how awful a singer Jagger really is.Now don't get me wrong,I'm 55 am grew up loving the Stones but Jagger has to be the poster child for a guy with a terrible voice that made it.Who's your example?

Bob Dylan. By Jove, that man can write, but (and I'm sure lots of people will hate me for this) he really can't sing.

Jim Morrison - yeah he's such a "poet". "Take a long holiday, let your children play". Thanks Jim, Thanks for telling me how to enjoy my vacation. Even better, "Keep your eyes on the road and your hand upon the wheel". Thanks again Jim, you are such a poet the DMV found your material inspiring. Thanks Jim........Thanks.......

Morrison sounds like a bad Danzig. Wait a minute, Danzig is bad too.

One of the best frontmen I ever played with was a HORRIBLE singer. But he was as magnetic of a personality as they come.

What about Bernard Sumner of New Order? Can't hold a tune in a bucket but without him New Order would suck.#

Here's a video of his 'singing'- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZDYq...eature=related

I'll warn you he does swear several times in this video.

Anthony Kiedis can't even sound the same live as in the studio no matter how hard he tries. Same with Stephan Jenkins from Third Eye Blind.

Frank Zappa?? He basically just talks, but I don't think he ever thought of himself as a singer anyways.
