The Band

A band asked me to be there bass player and I have played with them once already. It was behind my parents back because they don't want me to play in a band. I was wondering if any one had any advice for my perdicament.

Why can't you be in a band? Drugs? Sex? Rock and Roll?

Tell them that it will increase your knowledge of the instrument tenfold in a fortnight. I know it did for me.

you should arrange a practice, at your parents house, while they're home....that'll show 'em.

however, when i was in 8th grade, my dad would drop me off at practice, but he would tell me that if the other kids were smoking pot, that I should not let them talk me into it.
