Alright, so let's say for your preferred genre of music, what would be your band set-up be, instrumentally? I know there are people that prefer playing/listening to many genres, but if you were to pick one to play in, what would it be?
Let's see, for me, I would want to be in an electro-pop (along the lines of jazz-hop) band, and in the lineup...
One keyboardist, myself as the bassist of course, a guitarist, a drummer, a singer, and a percussionist.
A keyboardist would be nice to play with, due to the fact that they can reinforce the tonic, allowing myself to play something rather than the tonic and not sound too awkward. A guitarist would be nice too add to the higher register. The singer, that's given. A percussionist to accompany the drummer to extend the groove possibilities and exemplify those grooves. For example, a Latin groove would be accentuated nicely with some congas!
