Band Name and Debut Album Creator

A quick glance told me this hasn't been posted yet, but my apologies if it has.

Your Debut Album

1 - Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.

2 - Go to Random quotations: http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.

If you want to do this again, you'll hit refresh to generate new quotes, because clicking the quotes link again will just give you the same quotes over and over again.

3 - Go to flickr's "explore the last seven days" http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.

Put it all together, that's your debut album.

Mine is:

The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking
Won't Stand Up Either

I can't get to flickr at work, but I got the other 2, and they're pretty awesome

Band: Star Wars Action Figures
Album: Killing Everyone Inside

This was the quote

"If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year, killing everyone inside."

I used the last 3 words because it sounds cooler, and "Year, Killing Everone Inside" just sounds stupid.

That actually worked out pretty well. The album title would be "Be selling your children but I like it better without the Be.

This has got to be the first "Make a band name" process that actually seems to work!

Good job, Dis!

Great thread! I agree with tZer - thanks for this!

Edit: Forgot to post the results:

Album Name: "The Not Worth Knowing" (entire quote: "For centuries, theologians have been explaining the unknowable in terms of the-not-worth-knowing." H. L. Mencken [1880 - 1956])

Take 2:

Band name: "Kumgang County"

Album name: "The Product of Habit" (entire quote: "The moral virtues, then, are produced in us neither by nature nor against nature. Nature, indeed, prepares in us the ground for their reception, but their complete formation is the product of habit." - Aristotle)

Album cover:

I'm not sure which one I like better - they are both great!

Band Name - Veresegyház

Album - Not to be Orderly

Album cover

The name "Veresegyház" a town in Pest County in Hungary. I think it's pretty cool I got this one because I'm part Hungarian. It would be even cooler if I could pronounce actually the band name. I feel kind of, I don't know, ... "Prince"-like ....
