How many of your bands have included some underwear among your merch? I've wanted to do that for years, and finally convinced a label to make it happen.
Please post some examples of how to do this right, either from your own bands or from others you've seen.

I want to put the lead singers face on a pair of boxers with the flap in front strategically placed where his nose is. I think it would be funny as hell every time I had to pee!

What I want to avoid is ending up with something that looks like a really basic band shirt design printed at a smaller scale. That seems to be what usually happens.

We've done undies!
We usually toss them out to the crowd at certain shows. |

Ours will be for an album titled "They Call Us Naughty Wolves", btw. How could we not do undies to go with that?

He decided at one point not to sell them anymore due to a crisis of conscience, he was a born again christian. |

| | | | I was doing this back in '85. Only at that time we never sold them, we gave them away for the "dance contests". Panties for the ladies and shirts for the men. Of course in '85 bands actually got paid around here and we could afford to give away things like that. Now I print them for bands since I'm a sign shop owner and screen printer. It is a good idea that is worth the investment. |
