Ever seen anything of the like? I hadn't until I saw the band "Broken Social Scene" on Jimmy Fallon this past week: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6cyIQOgjJA
It sounds pretty cool actually! Know any other bands that do this? |

| | | | Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphumk has 2 bassists - they were on Treme recently. Willie Nelson used to have 2 basses, as did James Brown, |

A little number called BattleScar might draw some credit. 2 basses there including a fairly unknown bass player and singer you might recognize.

Dirk | Max Webster's "Universal Juveniles" (with Battlescar) is a great album and one of my favorites. I would have loved to have seen them when they toured with Rush, but never got the chance. |

I had heard of Max Webster before, but today was my first time hearing that song. I love it

People might even label it as "unconventional" , but I think it makes as much sense as rhythm/lead guitar. And these are all great examples, thanks guys |
